The unified Judicial System has established a civics toolkit for educators focused on the judiciary and its role in democracy in both the United States and Commonwealth. Included in the toolkit is a video featuring retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer in conversation with Duquesne University President Ken Gormley (a Constitutional scholar) with introductory remarks by Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center. Created for a 50–60-minute class period, this prepackaged video and set of discussion questions can be used to fulfill the Congressional mandate for educational programming on this day.
